Lost & Founds

Lost & Founds es un proyecto de danza que asocia al público y los artistas de 3 territorios europeos: Francia, España y Turquía.

El proyecto se desarrolla entre las compañías Sisyphe Heureux, Tenerife Danza Lab y Çati Dans inmersas en la creación de un diálogo entre sus respectivos mundos artísticos bajo un tema común: la formación de nuestra identidad a través de la recuperación oral de historias familiares.

La metodología de trabajo conjunto se fundamenta en los trabajos y debates ocurridos en París (noviembre 08), Estambul (febrero 09) y Tenerife (abril 09), lo que les ha permitido un intercambio dinámico duradero.

En cada territorio se ha recolectado testimonios orales de sus ciudadanos para posteriormente intercambiarlos con la técnica del potlach. De este trabajo saldrán cinco resultados distintos: 3 creaciones paralelas de cada equipo inspirada en las historias recopiladas e intercambiadas, 1 creación común de las tres compañías unidas y, por último, la publicación de un libro en cuatro lenguas (francés, español, turco e inglés) que destaca la riqueza, la pluralidad y la complementariedad de las entidades en diálogo.

Unificando el acercamiento que nos ofrecen los tres territorios, sus artistas y su público, cuestionando nuestras identidades, nuestras prácticas (del arte y de la ciudadanía), así como nuestra responsabilidad en el espacio social europeo.

Las piezas resultantes se estrenarán en Tenerife en diciembre y posteriormente viajaremos a Francia y Turquía. Aún no tienen título definitivo.

Lost & Founds

Lost & Founds is a dance project that brings together audiences and performers from 3 European countries: France, Spain and Turkey.

The project is being developed by the following companies: Sisyphe Heureux, tenerifedanzalab and Çati, and involves the creation of a dialogue between their respective artistic worlds under a common theme-the formation of myths of identity through the oral recovery of family stories.

The methodology of this joint venture is based on the work and debates that took place in Paris (November), Istanbul (February 09) and Tenerife (April 09), which has led to a dynamic and long-lasting exchange.

The starting point of this working methodology involved gathering the oral testimonies of local people in each country and subsequently exchanging them using the potlatch technique. Five different results will come out of this work: 3 parallel creations by each team based on the stories that have been collected and exchanged, 1 common creation by all three companies, and finally, the publication of a book in four languages (French, Spanish, Turkish and English) highlighting the wealth, plurality and the complementary relationship of the entities through dialogue-bringing together the three countries, their performers and their audiences, by questioning their identities, their practices (in art and citizenship) and their responsibilities within the European social area.
